Lush, the indie bath and body brand, will launch its free app Monday at 12 p.m. ET.

So, the company created a way to better bridge the gap.
In the Lush app beta, the interface is simple, with bestsellers and new products clearly laid out.
Credit: lushThe app recommends products based on "feeling" or "scent," similar to Lush's noteworthy in-store experience — clerks ask intimate questions tailored to each consumer's needs and preferences.

Credit: lushIn the "Stories" tab, Lush combines lighthearted beauty editorials with more serious articles about Lush’s ethics. Lush participates in charitable giving, has multiple sustainable initiatives and supports human and animal rights, and environmental issues.

While you won't get the full Lush experience (talking to the knowledgeable staff, getting to try products before you buy), the company's app is another helpful step for its digital fan base.
Unfortunately, there's no way to smell the products via the app but we're watching closely.
