The Special Edition Series X is the flashiest of the bunch, sporting double the space of the regular model and a speckled lime green-on-black design. The company said this "celestial effect [represents] thousands of games and millions of gamers playing on Xbox," but I'd argue it's also kind of brat. It ships with an exclusive Xbox Wireless Controller with a green back case.

(You'll still get more power out of a Series X, for what it's worth.) It's $50 cheaper than the standard black version that can play physical games, and it comes with a matching controller.

Meanwhile, the new 1TB Series S is just a new colorway; we've had a 1TB Carbon Black Series S since fall. Notably, that version appears to be getting phased out: Microsoft said in its announcement that "fans can still purchase [it] while supplies last" (emphasis mine), and seemingly just from third-party retailers. The Microsoft Store is only selling refurbished models.
